Photography has the power to grow the game in North America, and you’ve proved it throughout 2025. With another landmark year for soccer in the books, our 4th Annual Photo Contest will look to highlight the work of photographers who have excelled at capturing the beauty of the sport on our shores in 2025.

Starting December 22nd, photographers can submit entries in five categories (soccer fandom, match action, celebrations, growing the game, and from the stands) for special prizes and a chance to be featured.

We look forward to seeing your submissions to this fourth annual installment of the North American Soccer Photo Contest, hosted by CLUBELEVEN.

CATEGORIES:

We invite photographers in the North American Soccer community to submit their photographs for the following five categories:

  1. Soccer Fandom: Photographs capturing the essence of soccer fandom in North America.

  2. Match Action: Goals, reactions, saves, etc. – anything on the field during the full 90. No celebrations.

  3. Celebrations: Photographs capturing the excitement after a goal, winning a match, or a championship — soccer’s most prized moments.

  4. Growing the Game: Your creative representation of growing the beautiful game in North America.

  5. From the Stands: Photographs made from the perspective of a fan, shot entirely from the stands, concourse, or general spectator areas. Intended for images captured without requiring media credentials or special access (no remote cameras).

*Submitting the same photo to two different categories is prohibited. Submit each photo to the category that best fits each submission.

HOW TO ENTER:

  • Please submit photographs and requested information HERE.

  • Submissions must have been taken in the 2025 calendar year, in North America.

  • You may submit one (1) photograph per category for a contest total of five (5) photos.

  • Do not submit the same photograph to two different categories.

  • Images from all leagues, age groups, and levels of play in North America are welcome.

  • Captions (one to two sentences) are required in order to provide context for our judges.

  • In order to be properly displayed in our online gallery, photographs must be submitted in .jpeg or .jpg format, edited for web in sRGB color space, and be at least 2,000 pixels on the long edge, and no larger than 10 MB. 

Entry Deadline: The contest begins on December 22nd, 2025. All entries must be received through clubeleven.com by 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time on January 4th, 2025.

PRIZES:

  • The winner of CLUBELEVEN’s 2025 Grand Prize will be awarded a USD $200 B&H Gift Card delivered by email.

  • The winners of the five sub-categories “Soccer Fandom” 2025, “Match Action” 2025, “Celebrations” 2025, “Growing the Game” 2025, and “From the Stands” will each be awarded a USD $100 B&H Gift Card delivered by email.

  • The Overall Community Winner will be awarded a USD $150 B&H Gift Card delivered by email.

  • Winners will be notified via email by February 5th, 2026.

  • Please note it is possible to win both a category prize and the grand prize.

These dates may be subject to change. CLUBELEVEN will notify winners via the contact information provided at the time of entry; CLUBELEVEN may disqualify anyone who fails to respond to the notification within five business days.

WINNER SELECTIONS:

Photo entries will be judged based on creativity, quality, originality, responsiveness to the prompt, and overall impact. Our judging process will take place as follows:

PHASE 1: Finalist Selections

  • Judges will select 5 finalists for each of the 5 categories (25 total finalists).

    *Our judges never see any names or other additional information other than the photo and caption provided by participants during this phase.

PHASE 2: Public Vote + Community Vote Winner

  • The public vote will be hosted on Typeform, where voters will be able to select one photo from each category’s five judge-picked finalists.

  • The top-voted photo in each of the five categories will advance and count as the public’s official selection for that category.

  • Additionally, voters will be asked to select their outright favorite photo from the pool of 25 finalists, with the photo receiving the most votes earning the Community Vote Prize.

PHASE 3: Category Prize Winners (5)

  • After public voting closes, the top-voted photo in each category will count as one judge’s vote, effectively serving as an eighth judge.

  • These five public selections will be added to the votes from our seven judges, creating a total of eight votes per category.

  • The photo with the most total votes in each category will be named the winner of that category.

PHASE 4: Grand Prize Winner

  • A closed vote + deliberation session by this year’s judges will determine the overall Grand Prize Winner, selected from the 25 finalists pool.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Anyone can enter the competition. The competition will close on January 4th, 2025, at 11:59PM EST. All entries must be received before this time. Only one entry per named entrant and email address will be accepted.

  • Every entrant can submit up to a maximum of one (1) photo per category, for a total of five (5) photos. Only online submissions will be accepted.

  • Photograph entries must be under 10 MB and must be submitted in .jpg or .png format. All submissions must be the entrant’s own work.

  • If the selected winner is unreachable, ineligible, disqualified or fails to claim the prize [within 10 days of notification], the winner automatically forfeits the prize.

  • By entering, the entrant is agreeing to all the terms and conditions, and also agreeing to allow clubeleven.com to use and publish the winning entry on clubeleven.com’s website and social media channels.

  • Once submitted, we reserve the right to use any of the photos submitted to clubeleven.com and may be subjected to any future usage for contest purposes. Online Features: CLUBELEVEN may selects photos for highlight on its website and/or display in a publicly accessible contest archive. Such selections will be made in CLUBELEVEN’s sole discretion.

  • All entries should be made using the entrant’s legal name. Any dishonest information provided by the entrant will be disqualified.

  • Use of your personal data: Participation in the contest requires the collection of your name and email address. By entering this contest, you are consenting to the use of your name and email address for further communications regarding this contest.

  • CLUBELEVEN reserves the right to modify these rules, suspend or discontinue the Competition at any time, including without limitation where it is necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or if it cannot be guaranteed that the Competition can be carried out correctly for technical or legal reasons or if CLUBELEVEN suspects that any person has been manipulating the administration of the contest or has acted unethically in any other way. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

  • CLUBELEVEN retains sole discretion to refuse entrants the right to enter if we feel that these terms and conditions are not being complied with or for any valid and justifiable reason.

  • CLUBELEVEN reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or winner and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time in its absolute discretion.

  • The determination and decision of CLUBELEVEN on all matters shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  • All images submitted must have been produced in North America.
