USMNT vs South Korea

Tears in Heaven. One of the only other times the USMNT lost six home games in a calendar year? 1993. The year before the first World Cup in America. They say history is like poetry—it rhymes. Back then, we were able to pick ourselves back up and make it out of a tough group. Who knows what awaits in 2026. Hopefully some sort of redemption.
Even though it stung to see the USMNT fall in such a swift manner to South Korea, one solace from the evening was getting to witness how much it all meant to the Korean fans that made it out despite the heavy rainfall. Singing, cheering, and some even on the verge of tears watching their National Team for the very first time in person. Truly living the dream under those overcast New Jersey skies.
At least it lifted our spirits a bit to get to capture that joy from the visitors—a reminder that even on the darkest, rainiest days, there’s always the hope that the sun will come out again. Hopefully it comes soon for all of us American fans. Onto the next…
